EMRG Imaging — Eastern Mobile Radiology Group — brings mobile X-ray and ultrasound to residential aged care homes, retirement villages and private homes across the City of Bayside. We currently service 14 aged care homes in Bayside. Patients are imaged where they are, with no ambulance, no emergency department wait and no long day out.

Portable digital radiography brought to the bedside — chest, abdomen, hip, pelvis, spine, shoulder, knee and extremity imaging. Most referrals in Bayside follow a fall, a suspected chest infection, constipation or bowel obstruction, or PEG and NG tube placement.
Sonographer-led bedside ultrasound including abdominal, renal, bladder and post-void residual, pelvic, musculoskeletal and soft tissue studies, plus DVT and vascular Doppler. No radiation and no transfer — the scan is performed in the patient’s own room.
Bayside sits inside our established service area, so in most cases we attend the same day or the next business day. Urgent referrals are worked into that day’s run.
Our own Melbourne-based radiographers and sonographers, who come to know your facility, your access arrangements and your nursing team.
Our radiologists, radiographers and sonographers also work within Melbourne’s major hospital and health networks. All clinical staff are AHPRA registered and our sonographers are ASAR accredited.
EMRG is clinician-owned and clinician-run, with our own staff and our own equipment. There is no national call centre between your referral and the radiographer who attends.
