Our ultrasound services offer a non-invasive and painless way to visualise soft tissues, organs and blood flow within the body. Using high-frequency sound waves, our experienced sonographers capture detailed images that aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of conditions. At Box Hill we perform abdominal, pelvic, renal, thyroid, breast, testicular and musculoskeletal ultrasound, with reports returned promptly to your referring practitioner.
Doppler ultrasound assesses blood flow through your arteries and veins. At Box Hill Healthcare our sonographers perform venous Doppler (including DVT studies), arterial Doppler, carotid Doppler and vascular mapping, all reported by our radiologists. No radiation is involved and most examinations take 30–45 minutes.
